I fell through a glass table, gashing my stomach and didn’t get help for days. Many angry, horrible texts that I regret. I drove drunk, drank at work. I’m so glad that I didn’t hurt anyone else.

I've read through a lot of the stories here and elsewhere; it helps to hear others' experiences. My recent experience isnt nearly as extreme as some others.. in that I suppose I should be grateful. I've had drinking mess up things for me before, mainly oversleeping and a fight; but this was the first time I came out of it frightened... I know that for a couple of hours I was acting irrationally and had no idea where I was.
