Jillian, that's terrific about up and quitting and starting a business. I'm envious, actually. I don't have that kind of gumption.

I'm glad that you didn't drink yesterday.

I've had back pain. I had more back pain when I was still drinking. What has helped me is regular stretching and exercise, especially my legs. Drinking more water helps too. Staying hydrated is so important.

keep going! You can do this. Wow. Just quit and started a business. I'm still in awe.

congratulations on not drinking today. Please be aware that NSAIDs like ibuprofen can really mess up your stomach especially if you are a drinker. I've had problems with that in the past. Do not mix them!

That's great news Jillian, you have lots of reasons to remain sober, and it sounds like the desire is strong. I'm sure you are aware, drinking is progressive and it will take you, and your business, down if you let it. Wishing you the best.

Hi Jillian! You are truly amazing. You've got a head start on something that will keep you focused on staying the course, and that is your business. Keep working, keep pushing, and you will succeed. You have to work hard at sobriety to be successful, just as you have to work hard at running your business. You can do it!

Thank you everyone for your inspiring and encouraging words!

Ruby - i was so stressed at my job. Way too much negativity going on. New managers that didn't want to listen to me (and I was there way longer than them!) My husband and I are a great team, that is when we're sober. I'm happy to say that he has been sober from his doc for a few months now, and so happy he is because I couldn't take it anymore. We've been thru a hell of a roller coaster. We're closer together now and this new business is going great. But I knew that drinking was getting in the way (again!) and just like Thomas said, would bring it down.

Zen - I rarely ever take NSAIDs for that reason but my back was killing me yesterday. And it actually didn't help much. I seem to be fine today though and haven't had that pain. Alcohol was/is the culprit I'm sure!

Cauliflower, thank you so much. Oh how I've missed all of you.

Nofear, I am praying for you! Keep going, it can only get better. Enjoy spring break this week! It's been beautiful so far😀
