Need a substitute for evening activity and a healthy drink

Evenings are tougher for me, after 8pm usually. I only drink tea, so any other suggestions for a late night drink and an activity?

I drink ice water with lemon or decaf Constant Comment tea. And I spend a LOT of time here...relentless, actually. But it keeps me firmly grounded in staying sober.

Another possibility with all the money you're saving is go for Amazon Prime. They have a lot of terrific movies and television shows that aren't on the networks that you can watch for free...am currently hooked on Alpha House.

I mix seltzer with fruit juice. (my answer to soda pop). I like ice water with lemon slices or fresh mint leaves. Toward bedtime it's sleepy tea.

There are many classes available for free online if there is something you are interested in learning. I'm planning trips to Spanish speaking countries with the money I'm saving on alcohol and learning to speak Spanish in my spare time. I've also taken to reading a lot more. I also increased my workouts from mornings only to an evening workout, 3 days per week, as well.

For activities, maybe not the most intellectual, but after 8 I usually watch a lot of Netflix. A typical weeknight I will get home from work, workout, make dinner, and after dinner relax and catch up on shows. I have been reading a lot more too. For drinks I usually just drink water, but sometimes I'll have tea before bed (chamomile).

In my first days I found meditating helped- then I also started doing puzzles which was very helpful.

AA meetings and go with them after the meeting for fellowship and coffee or pop to drink! Might just save your life someday.

I read a lot and also have a few series I watch on TV or Netflix, this is my wind down time after the kids are in bed. I also spend some time on here each day.

My two go to drinks are Ice Water with lemon and Arizona Zero Green Tea, I like that it os not too sweet.
