First 24 hours of soberness

Well made it threw the day with out a drink of any alcohol. For me that is amazing. Sounds like I'm a true alcoholic. It is was it is. Thanks for all the advice for those who had responded to my comment last night. I truely believe I can do this. Before it was a court ordered thing about 5 years ago, but now its my own will. The bad part is its easy to not drink when when you don't have money. And payday is right around the corner smh. I'm going to really need some help when that time comes. On the bright side my boss gave me another chance so I really have to stay focused. The craziest thing is everywhere I go temptation is right around the corner. They sell beer everywhere. I need more help than even you or I can provide. And I hope the lord will help me walk this straight narrow path of rightousness. I know I said I was done with drinking over a thousand times myself. My biggest fear is that I would eventually have to say it again.

The first 24 hours of sobriety can be rough, actually, the first few days can be rough. But once you go thru it, you never need to go thru it again if you don't drink again.

The money thing was a problem for me. What is your plan when you have the money to waste on alcohol and have to start on day 1 again? I hope that doesn't happen. Be stronger than that nasty AV!
