Hi. Back on track
Hi. Back on track
Hi, it's me again
First, thanks lovely SR/people for all the good help and advice you give.
Maybe some day I can help others too.
I'm back on (the sober) track.
Last binge drunkenness was this weekend.
Feel like total $hit now, withdrawal, massive headache, tinnitus, depression, stress and general terrible mental state.
Have been reading my old posts, as suggested.
It helps to see how I've been fooling and repeating myself (well isn't that just classic addiction..)
I have a problem with alcohol, it destroys my life and it needs to stop.
I want to have a decent, productive, honest, social life. And it starts from now.

Maybe I should read this post once a month/week to stay on track..

Welcome back, Makrellen. Nice to see you.
Reading your old posts is a great start.
Do you have any other kind of a plan?
Dee compiled some really great links; I'll find them and post them for you.

Not at the moment.
Other than a strong "hate" towards drinking and its impact on my life, and a strong desire to get better, which makes it much easier to just stop it.
But I'm aware that I will later go "Ah this is going great, let's celebrate, just tonight" or be tempted in other situations.
I will look at the thread you posted, and try to have some plans/tools to stay on track. Thanks
