Day 17 - Job Interview/Assessment Day Tomorrow
Day 17 today in my journey, had a few ups and downs mentally this last day or two but got through it and staying positive.
Tomorrow (Day 18) I have a job interview/assessment day for a new job I have applied for. The money is great and the hours are much better for what I plan on doing career-wise. Let me just explain, at the minute whatever job I have is just a source of money to me. I plan on becoming fully self employed in this next year and I need as much money as I can save to help fund that transition. The hours of my new job are 5am until 1pm, so that leaves a huge part of my day left for planning and working on my business/marketting. I have never had a job interview with zero alcohol in my system before so this will be a huge challenge for me. But I can honestly say I couldn't have started making plans and positive moves forward like this if it wasn't for going sober. Alcohol is destructive and it prevents you functioning and performing to your full capacity in life.
Giving it up was the only option.
