Second Sober Weekend
Happy Friday everyone!! This is my second Friday sober in quite some time, and I am excited that I am sticking with my plan. I have been journaling, reading, exercising and have a sober buddy who started this journey with me and we check in on each other a few times a day. SR and Women for Sobriety have been thesis port groups I am using.
Tomorrow I will be doing a Resolution Run with my family, I know my husband and kids will finish before me (I have a chance to walk fast enough to beat the youngest, but not likely with my knees!) My oldest daughter is determined to place in the top three for her age group, I hope she does it. The race for me represents my commitment to myself, which means my sobriety. Remaining sober will make me healthier physically, emotionally, and financially. So when I need to write my resolution on the board it will just be about mindfulness, staying in the moment, and staying sober.
After that it is time for football!! My team is playing Sunday, it would be nice to continue in post season!
