Well, I finally did it...
Thanks everyone. I never really was a big fan of the chip system of AA but after giving it more thought, I came to realize it has it's benefits.
...and after all, it's nice to share your accomplishment with others.
Thank you
DD

Fantastic!
In a few days, I'll go to an AA meeting and pick up a two year coin.
Hard to believe it's already been that long.
I remember that first 30-day chip. It felt really good, and it carried me on to a 2 month, a 3 month, a 4 and a 5 month.... then I went off and tried to prove that I could moderate and it was all OK.
I remember that first 30-day chip the next time around. It felt really good. It carried the weight of my knowledge that I could easily throw it all away again. This time, I didn't.
I'm proud of you, DD. That first 30 day chip is a milestone that represents your commitment to a choice and it represents the potential and possibility that lay ahead for you in a whole different life.
Keep it up!! Hold that coin with you, rub it and feel its energy, the power of your choice and your commitment.
