So terrified, on day 5 or 6 of this hell again, fingers are going blue, can't sit down, please can someone give some advice on how to calm down

One thing that helps me with the things you mentioned is my free diving deep breathing excercises. Without getting to complicated simply make your exhales twice as long as your inhales. This will help remove the noxious gases that build up in the lower portion of your lungs and help resaturate your blood with oxygen. Worth a try hope it helps some.

Welcome back Eunectes. First off, you aren't alone...we've been there before too.

Your safety is the most important thing...are you saying you've been binging for 5-6 days or has it been 5-6 days since your last drink?

Yes, do slow your breathing and it will help you relax. Try listening to some of your favorite music, go for a walk, eat something, do whatever it takes to get through these moments. Hang in there!

Welcome back Eunectes - sorry you're in a bad way...maybe you need some medical help?

As mentioned above. Breathing is great, try big windmill arms going backwards.

Breathing in and breathing out, get all that agitated energy out with big deep breaths.

Also, what helped me was some push ups...that awful hectic energy needs an outlet...try getting rid of it .
See if it helps, only do what you are capable of.

It helped me knowing that this was my brain at work, it was going through the process of getting better, of healing.

As others have mentioned, try to gently release all that pent up energy and anxiety. I believe it helps cleanse the body quicker and balance the mind. Just don't drink.

Hi Eunectes if your fingers are going blue its a good time to go to your Dr or local hospital to have that checked out to be on the safe side

In the meantime try these breath exercises
