Bear- you posted yesterday evening: "Going "straight to the gate"" That is only the beginning. The true challenge is when the plane reaches altitude and the booze cart starts rolling down the aisle and the guy next to you orders a double and sits drinking it. As far as your AV goes it's like waving a piece of meat in front of a hungry wolf. A place of extreme danger to your sobriety. I've been there, done that! "I can do it by sheer will power". It's like sitting at a gambling table and throwing away the good cards, vastly increasing the odds against you. Just what the AV wants you to do.
