Help stressed
I am so worried about my results for the biopsy of my thyroid. Im still swollen all week long. It was the hard lumph node the dr had trouble getting a sample from and the other growths have calcifications im waiting for my diagnosis and getting more stressed the longer i wait. Someone help to calm me down i can feel the anxiety and my heart is racing

Thanks. That's my fear having my thyroid removed. Was it really painful. That scares me. Thanks for the support. It seems like a lot of people are getting thyroids removed more nowadays. I keep hearing about it

No sense stressing over it till it happens. There's nothing you can do about it and the actual event is usually nowhere near as bad you make it out in your head. Although not near the same, I had surgery last week that people were telling me would take months to recover from and would always bother me. I was back to work in 4 days and have almost no pain. I am not taking any pain meds either. Not saying this is the case in your situation but even if it isn't, is the unnecessary stress going to help the situation?
I used to be the king of stress and worrying and it was one of my main excuses for getting hammered. This is one of the things in my journey out that I've been working very hard to turn around. So far it's helped.
