Sitting at a bar...
I have almost 4 years sober. I am sitting at a bar, in a hotel, in a city where I am for work. I could drink. If I did I know it would start out innocent. But then I remember where that ends up. Me. Losing. Everything. I sign my check for my food and say thank you to the bartender. Smile that I am able to now play the tape through. Head up to my room with my food and snuggle down for a movie. But for the grace of God... There I go.
