newcomer, supporter of a loved one

hi, im new to the forum. I'm here to learn how to support and understand a loved one who is fairly new to recovery. I have lots of questions, and maybe I can find answers.

Part of me wants to pursue this and part of me feels at a complete loss. The person I was supporting has completely cut ties with me, and has now moved onto a relationship with someone they've met at recovery. I don't know what to do anymore.

For your own sake, I'd let go. If he/she has moved on to someone new, that is a pretty loud decision.

Count your blessings. You dodged a bullet.
