Turning a corner
Hopefully this will last, but I am feeling better this morning than I have in a while. I'm still a little tired and may even be exhausted in a few hours, but for now I feel good. I even feel happy. Hopefully day 6 is the turning point.
Congratulations on 6 days!
I am glad you feel like you're turning a corner, that's awesome! Mentality is an important part of sobriety. You have turned a corner! You are going to do this!
A lot of people refer to early sobriety as an emotional roller coaster. This early in it is unlikely you have leveled out emotionally. That said, enjoy the highs!! and be ready for the low days.
Again, Congrats Sinderos! I am excited to read your posts here in the future.

I had ups and downs the whole first year of sobriety....
Then I realized that ups and downs were a part of life.... and everything got a lot easier.
But seriously, I found that in Year One I went through a lot of personal transformation. I faced what could probably be considered depression, certainly anxiety, self-esteem issues, sexual problems, confidence issues, frustration, doubt, confusion, physical exhaustion, sleep challenges, lack of motivation, conflict and a whole lot of other stuff.
Yet along with all of that I found hope, inspiration, energy, progress, growth, insight, inspiration, determination, confidence, self-esteem, strength, joy and abundance.... among lots of other stuff.
When we choose to honor sobriety and give ourselves to being present in our lives, learning and growing from it all, choosing to live it with a clear head and body..... incredible things really do happen.
Hang in there!

That's brilliant! I always feel that the tiredness is quite a good thing as it means my body needs to rest and repair itself. I can be quite oblivious to my own physical needs so it's good to have a reminder, ha!
Month 4 in a few days, still have all the issues....just at about 25% strength.
So..we can't slip....
