I remember when someone very close to me died quite suddenly....I found myself a in a very strange state. I was crushed and destroyed on the inside, but quite unemotional on the outside. I am pretty sure it was the alcohol that caused this dichotomy.
I also know that my drinking kept the pain of that event up front and very, very fresh for a very long time. I could not grieve properly. Getting sober helped me to move forward and to heal.

Hi Raider - I'm so sorry you're in pain. I remember you so much fr when I first joined this site. I loved the pics of Fuzz and have found myself at times hoping you were doing ok. I'm glad you checked in. I am sure the next few months are going to be especially hard for you, why don't you stick around here? I know everyone wants to 'see' you.

Welcome back Pam. Sorry you are still suffering.
Maybe try to comeback to the community a little more often and see how it goes. You know from the past that there's plenty of people here that care about you and will help if you let us.
