Hanging in there
I am still hanging in there. Im not sure of the day count, but Im not worried about the day count. I got too wrapped up into counting days last time- instead this time I just focusing on one day and only that one day.
My kids and family are too fun to be around, and I dont want to lose out on that time being drunk and not remembering or living in the moment.
Some days are tough and I long for that escape that I think I could find in the bottom of a bottle. But once I reach that bottom of the bottle, I know I would get another and another and another until I pass out. Then of course the next morning or day for that matter isnt fun.
We biked Friday evening to a restaurant and had dinner. My oldest (4 yrs old) is riding a bike on her own now and it is pretty cool how much fun she is having. My youngest (1) just has fun trying to keep up and riding on the bike with one of us. We one of those seats that attaches to the bar in between the handlebars and the seat of the bike so that they can see in front of them instead of staring at your back the whole time.
I just hope I can continue along this path.
