Feel I want to give drinking sensibly one last shot. Unpopular I know. You are all incredible people with so much strength and honest advice. I do admire how brave you all are. I do appreciate your kindness and patience.

Think about what you're expecting from this mythical one last shot DD?
Is it peace, happiness, some way to roll back time...
none of those things are reasonable or feasible.
I'm sorry you're hurting now but the way really is forward..
if you go back to drinking the best you can hope for is to retrace your steps back to this point and suffer through all that pain all over again.
You may lose yourself in grief all together and never get back here.
Thats your addiction feeding on your pain and lack of self esteem.
It's telling you you're not worth the fight.
There's hundreds of people here on SR would disagree
