Day 5 - Well still going strong I did smoke but it was either a cig or kill someone lol. Today I am starting back working online so I have loads to do at that and also thinking of doing up my room with new carpet and getting it painted so can plan that out also. I am starting to worry a bit as I know this week is going to be hard and its scary the feelings that are going to come and not giving in to them like I always do. Anyway one step at a time I will deal with them when they come and will post in newcomers if I need urgent support..Thanks again guys...

Day 6 - Well still going I had a few testing moments yesterday and the thought of drinking was lingering but made it without picking up. I also have a friend who is ignoring me for some reason or other and thats not helping me either so I know the next few days will be pretty tough..

Just because there isn't a day 8 this time doesn't mean there won't be a day 8 in 8 days. Try to learn from this one. I've been there before myself. I am only at day 10 as it is, but I've had many day 4 and 5's end without a day 5 or 6.

Sounds like a good plan. Do you live in an are where you could get to an AA meeting or some other type of recovery group ( Life Ring/Smart/Etc ) ? Sometimes it's very helpful to be around others who are going through what you are in person.
