There's a saying a guy in my school used to repeat to himself: 'You have to speculate to accumulate'.

He was a gambler, he once bet his father's car and the house tv in a game of pool (when we were kids) and lost.

The lads took that car, rallied it into bits and left it crashed upside down on the main road which is how his father found out. I digress…

ps. I believe since I joined this site I have visited it every single day, even if only for 15 minutes. I use it as a constant reminder of the destruction alcohol can do.
