Welcome Prissy

You'll find a lot of help and support here. I used to drinking for just about any reason and it was tough to change for that - but the support here really helped - I know we can help you too

Hi Prissy, maybe controlling your anxiety would be the best approach. What methods have you tried in the past?

Hi and welcome.
Most of us with alcohol problems drank to relax/unwind at first occasionally. Then it became more often with other personal results to the point of daily drinking to try to achieve the results of old. At a certain point we became addicted to alcohol and for our sake need to abandon it totally.

When the point of no return came for me there was no internet for information like that posted here which can be helpful if used and used daily.
I came to contact AA which has helped millions with drinking problems, it became my lifeline in my learning process to abandon using alcohol. Many have a fear of the unknown about using it but after attending for awhile admire the results IF we listen and follow suggestions.

BE WELL
