Long term memory..Sorry I've posted similar before.
Encouraging comments all. Thanks I just can't tell anyone but close family about stuff like this.
You'll be just fine. I was walking through a fog for several months but come to think of it, I was living in fog every day when I was drinking a twelve pack every night so the fog was really nothing new.
I was frustrated, sure, that I didn't feel better immediately but I knew as sure as the sun will rise tomorrow, that I wouldn't get any worse in sobriety, cognition and all.
I am happy to report that my memory is back to normal and the fog is gone at a year.
So if any newcomers are reading this and thinking, crap, a whole year to feel better? It's not quite like that. You feel better almost immediately. PAWS or not, you feel better by simply not having hangover, so keep reminding yourself that you at least don't have a hangover.

Yes. Am going kayaking later, hungover me would have made excuses and sit drinking wine and watch a film. On a Saturday. Or go to the pub with mates to play pool etc. On a Saturday.
