2 weeks in. Feel tired.
So I'm not wanting a drink or anything just feeling tired and depressed today. Kind of more than usual. Took some vitamins and think I might go fishing since it's nice outside. I feel a bit spaced out. A little dizzy but the pollen is pretty bad right now too. Who knows. Any way 2 weeks yay! Feels like it's been 2 months. I need to believe that I will feel better. I mean I feel a lot better than day 3 but I feel like I'm stuck in the mud here.
Congrats on 2 weeks Ninjaturtle. It's allergy time, my whole family has been stuffed up and coughing/sneezing all week. Don't rule out a checkup if you haven't been to the DR in a while, never hurts to see how things look from a medical standpoint.
Thanks sd and Scott! I had a full blood panel 4 days before I quit and a checkup. Doc said I was healthy so I celebrated with a drink and hit bottom 4 days later. Not alcoholic of me at all. (Sarcasm). Lol

Congrats on 14 days. My moods were up and down in the beginning. One thought. Are you drinking enough water? I started substituting coffee and other beverages for the alcohol. I find being dehydrated causes all sorts of stuff. Especially dizziness.
If it continues, see your doctor.

good days and bad days but all are great compared to being drunk or hungover so I don't complain. Do what you can, get some exercise whenever possible and just enjoy it my man.

It's hard to get to sleep, even harder to get out of bed. Can't focus, and at the same time, you can't stop obsessing over little nothings. It's like walking through an early morning fog, without enough visual stimuli to keep your mind occupied. At least that's my experience.
You'll start to normalize before too long. You're off the juice, so you've done your job. Your body, and your brain has to do its job now. Your biological processes, your brain chemistry, need to readjust. They have to start correcting themselves. So try to eat right, stay hydrated, get some exercise, and get out of the way.
