JayWil,
As someone that also drank every other day (didn't usually drink when hungover), I know how tempting it is to pick up and drink when you get out of work and just feel good.
I think to break the habit initially, just be easy on yourself. Watch all the TV you want, don't worry about what you are eating and how much you are excersizing. And as bad as this sounds, I've also toned it down at work a bit. I'm in sales and super energetic and competitive at work (I love doing deals), but that adrenaline I'd build up would lead me to drink at night I think. I've checked in here many times while at work, sometimes just to read and make sure I'm thinking about sobriety. Obviously none of that is a long term
Solution, but it helped me get through the first two weeks.

Great to meet you JayWil! My friends here helped me find the courage to change my life. It means so much to know we're never alone. Someone's always here to listen and understand. Everything's going to be ok.
