42 Days
Today has been much better than the last couple days. For some reasons the last couple days have felt so dark. I haven't used or drank so that makes me grateful.
It's amazing how right when us addicts feel something slightly negative our minds go right to taking/drinking something that might let us escape reality. Makes me wonder how the 97-99% of the population that don't use make it through life!!! Escaping reality and addiction is a little silly when you put it into that perspective.

Great job on 42 days, beddy; good to hear that today is better than the last few.
It is probably going to be a roller coaster for a while but have faith - the track will eventually level out.
