I got into the habit of hanging wind chimes on the doorknobs so I could hear my daughter coming and going when she was out on a date, I still have them on the front door knob and back patio door.

So horrible for the poor little guy.
Any story like this makes me feel sad.

They also make me feel happy to be sober...that I can hear my daughter when she is sleeping upstairs and I can check on her and make sure she is safe and warm in her bed. I can wake up quick if she needs me.

I'm not at all saying his parents were drinking though.
He was obviously setting off on his own little adventure.
So heartbreaking.

I just read in the news that the police found a second three year old wandering naked in the cold today!! At first I thought I was reading it wrong.... Jesus. This time is was in the afternoon, broad daylight, 1:30 in the afternoon. Mad mad world.

I know. And I know it has nothing to do with recovery.... Yesterday I was just shaken by what happened to that little boy. Today I can't believe that another kid was out in the cold. How does that happen?

Broke my heart when I saw the news.

My son sleep walks sometimes. So every time he goes to the wash room at night I wake up. I don't think I ever sleep "completely"

The mother of the child today has been charged with abandonment as she should be. 1:30 in the afternoon and your baby is outside naked. For shame!
