A little under 56 hours now....

Good morning just checkin in. 915am will be 56 hours, not much sleep last night. Woke up and tried to rationalize that it would be ok to go smoke another rock, quickly I got that idea out of my head, besides how will I pay for it anyway the wife has my debit card which I think is the best thing for me right now into the foreseeable future, plus I gotta work. I hate my addiction.

Hey Justin, welcome to SR! Keep up the good work, addictions do suck but they can be defeated. You're on the right path, just keep reminding yourself of that!

Man I'm here at work and I'm still obsessing about getting high, trying to fight the compulsion. I am gonna hit a meeting after I get out of work. I know the odds are stacked against me and relapse and the long term recovery statistics of a crack addict aren't favourable but damn this sucks it's almost what 3 days and boy is it calling me.

Good idea Natty re the meeting

I wouldn't get hung up on stats as I don't think there are many RELIABLE statistics out there

What is certain is that people HAVE quit and you seem as well equipped as anyone to be one of them

Hang in there buddy
