Just grabbed a cold one, took a huge sip. Felt guilty and dumped it down the drain. Started making dinner, realizing I was more hungry then anything and was really craving calories, saw a bottle of wine on my counter and poured a glass. Took a sip then did the same thing, dumped it out into the sink.

I wasn't strong enough (twice) to not drink but I was strong enough to put them both down. Proud of that.

Perhaps beer in the fridge and wine on the counter are bad ideas for a while. Give yourself some space from the impulsive grab.

I'm glad you were able to pour it out but I'm puzzled as to why you had it to hand. When I quit all the alcohol was out of the house. Too tempting.

Good job dumping it. But maybe don't have it around the house?
