Weird Recovery symptoms...neck, base of skull crackin and crunchin'..

Weird Recovery symptoms...neck, base of skull crackin and crunchin'..

Anyone else experience this a month and half in??

Used to my neck cracking...But now my neck and base of skull seem to be cracking and crunchin , if I twist my neck and head around , it's a weird crunching sound feeling....

Not sure if it's part of the recovery\healing process , or it may just be me since I have hit my dang head so many times... lol...

Just curious if anyone else noticed this...

Glucosamine is great for cartlidge & joints so is cod liver oil

Best advice is book an apt and let Dr check

I appreciate that...Been through 2 cat scans in a month , nothing shows up , not even a brain...(kidding)...Just assuming then it's probably due to multiple head \ neck injuries that are just catching up with me during this recovery(and age.. lol)

I usually use Chondroitin , but we'll give that Glucosamine a try..

My neck seems to be cracking more than usual since I quit drinking, although I quit going to a chiropractor as well, so that may be part of my issue. Although my neck, back seems to be more sore than usual as well. I figure I will give it a few more weeks and if it doesn't quit I will go back to the back cracker to see if they can help.

I take glucosomine and chrondroitan daily as a supplement...

I get it ALL the time. When I sit her for a spell not moving, my neck lets out a 'crack' when I lean forward. I have the crunchy thing too. Had a vertebrae injury about ten years ago. Much tequila was involved. I'll probably be paying for it years down the road unless I continue to improve my diet and physical well being. My uncle is 92 and still cuts his own grass and does home repairs. Stating active is the key to longevity.
And also helping ourselves heal.

ps - I had a bone scan years ago. I am 'off limits' to a chiropractor.

I started to notice things that were already there, aches and pains that alcohol covered over for years!!

Could be something like that, maybe a Dr can check it out and give some peace of mind!!
