30 days Tomorrow
I'll have a month sober tomorrow & I'm already it finding hard to come up with ideas for new posts. I don't know if I get a lot of satisfaction by responding "good job-way to go!" on other peoples posts. Is it possible to burn out on here so quickly? I have no urge to drink, & I'm happy with the way my life is going.
Congratulations on 30 days! I didn't get burned out, but then I spent a lot of time in the newcomers reading all the threads of people who were just starting out.
We each walk a different path, but I need to be reminded of where I came from and encouraging those who are struggling helps me. I'm coming up on 8 years in recovery and this is still important to me. That's just me.
I'm glad you are happy with life, and wish more of the same for you!
Hugs and prayers,
Amy

It's entirely up to you, but some encouragement to other users and maybe sharing what worked for you can make a big difference to the newly sober.
I've seen many examples where the poster is craving a drink, posts on SR and makes it through with the support of others.
It's not just about you, but it can help you as well.
Congrats.. good job headcase! Just a caution to remain vigilant, as 30 days is still really early in the game. Most of us have eased up in early recovery only to be hit by cravings out of nowhere, or during times of stress. Some made it through, some didn't, depending on the tools and support they had available to them. For me personally, posting and helping others on a daily basis reinforces my sobriety and helps my ongoing recovery, two completely different things. That said, we're all different and walk our own path.
IMO the most important thing is that you don't have urges to drink & your happy with your life.
I don't post much either, but seeing others make it gives me satisfaction. Everyone's success is a reminder that we are not alone in this fight and we can make it.
Congratulations on 30 days!! Great job, way to go!!

Congratulations on a month, upminer; well done.
I had virtually no support in early sobriety; the focus of my life was severely narrow at the time; basically I white-knuckled it - not recommended. A 'way to go' would have been worth a million dollars to me during that time.
I think that Newcomers find a great deal of hope from '15 day', '30 day', '6 month' posts. Hope you stick around; it has been nice getting to know you.

Well done on your month Thirty days is still rather early sobriety, so I suggest you not leave SR just yet. If you are feeling burned out, take a step away for a couple of days and then come back. You don't have to post cheerleader posts. Some do find that helpful and enjoy helping others in that way. We all do it a bit differently. Find your niche here
30 Days is fantastic!! Keep it going!!
For SR provides an outlet for me to help others, and at the same time constantly reminds me of the life that I don't want to go back to, having that support is important in my journey, others use other things, but having something outside of myself built into my routine has been invaluable!!

Congratulations on 30 days Head
Are you anxious about your 2nd month? I'm on day 28 and feeling that I'll get January over and let my guard down. I know lots of people say to plan for sobriety and that does make sense but I havn't planned anything as it feels a bit like tempting fate
