Do you know where the guilt is coming from? Generally I feel most sad when feeling the miss of past connections with people. Or when I am surrounded by people in my present yet feel alone. Then I know I have to reach out and connect somehow. Do you feel guilty for having to let go of things from the past?

Hi Charliee, I understand you. I had overwhelming feelings of guilt, still do sometimes.
For all the regrets of my behaviour and wasted time when I drank.
We know we cant change the past and although we know we will never be that person again it doesn't stop the misgivings creeping in.
