Breakfast with Kate
I was feeling a little bit down lately, needing a pick me up. Luckily the kids don't have school today, my youngest was the first one up. Kate is 11 & is turning into a wonderful young lady. We decided to go out for breakfast & had a nice talk. We talked about how bad my depression was at Christmas & how I made the decision to stop drinking. I'm so lucky to be where I'm at in life, my biggest regret is that I didn't stop sooner.I can't change the past but I can make sure I have a healthy, sober future ahead for me & my family.

Thanks for sharing that...My Katy girl is 5...And Lordy she keeps me straight in line.. The other day, we were at the grocery store and she yells out "Daddy , look , Beer, ...You don't drink beer anymore!!"..Her 2 bro's turned bright red with embarrassment.. I just chuckled..Nothing like our kids to motivate us..
