Hi, I'm new & on day 2

Hello, All - I have never posted on a forum before. I have been trying to quit drinking for a long time. This is it! Day 2, going to an AA meeting tonight & nervous about that. It's so time to quit!

Hope the AA meeting goes well; don't e too nervous. Every one there will have had a first meeting.

Well done on day 2.

I got the warmest welcome at my first AA meeting. Even now I love going into meetings - it really helped in my recovery, I felt I was with people who knew exactly how i was feeling and it was such a relief. The same as they do here.

Hi and welcome.
There is a lot of good help here IF we use it. At meetings as here your among people who understand us and the feelings are uplifting when we see the eye expression along with the words expressed.

The valued words I received in the beginning was “KEEP COMING” and I have been for a lot of years.
