Have a wonderful, energetic day, Weas.

Also all of you who might be dreading work today--I hope it turns out better than you expect.

Good morning! Brutal cold out this morning and back to school. I'm not ready for this. Well, I am, but I don't want to be. I'm thinking lovely thoughts about olive's gardeners porn - seed catalogs - to keep the faith that warmth will return.

Shenzy, thank you for the laugh re: vacuuming. How do they make such a mess on a daily basis?

Petals, I hope you are feeling better soon.

Weasel, yes, the holidays are over. Unless you celebrate the feast of the epiphany (12th day of Christmas), which is tomorrow.

Time to make lunches, get kids dressed, shower, dress, bundle up and run out the door in fifty pounds of clothing.

See you all later.

yep, holidays are over, don't let the winter snow get to you - if you get snow. oh - MM, southern ca snow, I got it on the grapevine a few times years ago when I live in longbeach and BH. One year we drove to Anaheim to get our xmas tree. It was a cut your own place- angel stadium was just across the highway - it started snowing when we got there and everything was white by the time we left - my first so-cal xmas tree and it was nice enough to snow for me people were panicking - I was loving it. Same thing down south, my seestor tells me it's crazy when it snows a little around atlanta - like Armageddon or something.

Have a good week all. Hang in there BigS

Good morning eveyone! Yes...we made it through the holidays and now we have a fresh new start. I was worried about getting through it without drinking, but thanks to you all, I made it. And as a result, it was the best holiday season I've had in years. Thank you for being here.

I was dreading it. And it did turn out much better than I expected.

Wish it wasn't so darn cold, however.
