It's been ginger beer so far for me, something rather festive about it, I think.

A barman once told me he can always spot the recovering alcoholics because they are the ones drinking sparkling water. People who are just refraining because they are driving or whatever tend to have a coke or fruit juice. Whether that is true or not I cannot say but sparkling water is certainly my own drink of choice.
