Oh! The decisions you'll have to make!

Will it be eggs and bacon? Steak and eggs? Biscuits and gravy?

Mornings are so much better sober.

Can't wait to get up bright and early, plug in the tree and pour a coffee....grab the paper and enjoy. No obsessive thoughts of when the wine can pour again...no queasy stomach..no wishing that I was still asleep...no hating the sound of my son and his friends playing loudly, no struggling to make it through the day...

No more officially getting up after lying awake for three hours sweating, panicking, and trying to determine whether I was going to throw up.

I love that early morning cup of coffee, even if my little one has me out of bed a bit earlier than I'd like.

Smoked bacon and some sage sausage, double-toasted light rye toast slathered in Irish Butter.

Two perfectly-cooked (runny yellows but crispy bottoms) eggs
from pasture-raised chickens with dark yellow centers.

A cup of French pressed dark coffee with a bit of heavy cream.

That's what I'm having. . .. what about the rest of you?

French toast with blueberries and powdered sugar. French roast coffee.

Being sober is definitely better.

However, for me, I still have problems
making a simple decision. To make a
simple choice.

Back in the day, we didn't have as many
choices in things as they do today. We
didnt have all these choices there are in
the kind of toilet paper you want to use.

Scott was the best in the day cause it
lasted longer. In todays age, you have
plush, 3 or 4 ply, lol, natural, dye free,
and who knows what else is out there. lol

Of course ive upgraded to Charmin cause
Scott feels like, well, it aint soft....lol

Id think at my age and my sobriety time,
lifes littiest choices wouldn't be so hard
for me. Hmmmm, welp, im still a work
in progress.

Good thing I had finished my coffee before reading this, aasharon. I suspect I would have been cleaning up a mess and taking your name in vain.
