Oh, yeah, some water and ice help it along. You can salt it a bit too, or add some kick with hot sauce or garlic, etc... But the veggies do have a lot of water content. You do also need a powerful blender(I have a Vitamix, but I do think there are cheaper, powerful ones out there) to get a palatable texture with tough greens in there. Baby spinach can blend more easily in a more standard blender. There are green smoothie recipes all over the internet.
