This is what I posted in my home thread. Hope y'all don't mind a repeat:
I looked in the dictionary for the definition of "support". Guess what I found? Marchers. And SR.
Someone made the right call. Coming off my meds, and having to deal with life as we know it...I collapsed. Folded. Yep, went into my shell. But, just like my little buddy, Junior, I'm out and snapping.
I'm ok. It's almost 5 AM local time and I'm ok.
Thanks to you folks. My usual way of dealing with life would be a handle of vodka and a laugh. Followed by a hangover and another handle. And the cycle would go on.
Today, tonite, whatever, I'm ok. Not drunk, not in denial, dealing with reality.
Do you know the latin word: fasces?
It's a bundle of sticks. One stick alone is fragile, easily breakable. A bundle of sticks, bound together, is unbreakable. That's what we are.
