Hi everyone. Haven't posted here in a while but I finally have done it. 45 days sober! Geez it took forever to finally feel alright physically and emotionally. Being out of work, I have been taking walks around town, stopping in coffee shops, visiting pops and going to meetings and such. Enjoying living basically.

I sit here finally ready to take action in the way of finding employment. Most everything is online applications and I really hate that. So impersonal and you don't even know if someone has even looked you over.

No response = rejection in my thinking. I ain't going to drink over this.

it took me 13 months and an average of 5 applications a day to land employment....gotta do what we gotta do to become employed again. I wish you well on your job hunting!
