Today is the first day without alcohol
Hi guys, me again. Just want to share what happen today. This is the first day I don't drink alcohol. This is the starting day to get sober from alcohol. I'm craving, but I have to fight for it. I hope this is not the first day.

darcal well done on making the decision to stop. Post here as much as you like and you'll get plenty of support.
It's hard to go cold turkey. Do you have any support like AA or another group? Once again I urge you to see a doctor if you stop drinking suddenly. The reason is that your body's reaction can cause dangerous side-effects. Look it up online.
There's lots of information about on how to handle cravings. Exercise, food, changing your routine, distraction, deep breathing are some of them. Try to take positive action rather than sit there and endure. Lots of help here if you have any questions. Good luck.
