Gah, I just wanted to say, I really relate to the "when are we getting a drink?" part of this. Many a potential good time I ruin because there is no alcohol, and I want there to be alcohol, so I miss what is actually going on by either figuring out how to involve alcohol or obsessing over the fact that I can not. It's like even when I'm not drinking alcohol is still getting between me and people even just inside my head. I would rather like to put it behind me though. Actually being present for stuff would be nice.
