Is PAWS a real thing? (Post-Acute-Withdrawal-Symptoms)

Could it explain panic attacks a few weeks after quitting alcohol?

PAWS is real, but unlikely to be an issue in early recovery. It could be related to initial withdrawal. I don't know. Why don't you see a medical professional about them.

I'm not a Doctor but based on my experience and understanding, it would unlikely to be paws at the 14 day point Stephen.

The 'Post' in Paws means, if you were to get it, generally it kicks in after a month or two.

Panic attacks were a part of my early recovery too. Have you seen anyone about them?
