Day 30 :)

Well today is 30 days sober. I think this is the 4th longest I've been sober in 21 years. Things are going fairly well as long as I try to keep myself busy. Boredom has always been a pretty big trigger for me. I was kind of ticked off because of the time change. It made my day longer and at this point in my sobriety I look forward to bedtime. LOL.

Great job on 30 days!

I can relate to the boredom thing it's a big problem. And for me it stems from my lack of interest in things and a giving up on myself

30 days is a heck of an accomplishment! Great job.

One of the best things about living here in AZ is we don't observe daylight savings!!! I love it.

Awesome job Trogdor!! I agree with the time change. I tend to want to go to bed at an early hour too.

Thanks all for the encouragement and kind words. I went to my daily 12:00 AA meeting today. Each meeting they ask for anniversaries but they don't hand out chips, just applaud. Anyway I announced my 30 days, got my applause and the meeting went on. A few minutes later a woman came over to me and handed me a 30 day chip. That was a nice surprise since they don't usually give them out.

Hey JustTrogdor- Nice job on the 30 days!!!

Boredom has always been a pretty big trigger for me.
It's my biggest. This is why I'm not loving the daylight time change, as it messes with my Summer routine, thus allowing too much time without the sun. Hence, boredom for me. When I drank, I loved it because it sort of allowed for an extra hour in the bar. It got dark quicker, which made it feel a bit later.

Anyhow, nice job!
