Elizabeth Pena

I don't post often, but this really put home what can happen. I'm only a few years younger than her but had I kept going, I don't doubt I would have ended the same way. Twenty one months sober and hope to never go back.

Addiction is no respecter of persons. It can bring down the most publicly successful of people as easily as the homeless person drinking cheap wine out of a brown paper bag.

RIP Elizabeth Pena.

if you are curious about "celebrities" and alcoholism, go to utube and look at We Do Recover AA....you will find several talks from highly respected people, those "high functioning" alcoholics; those able to stay stopped with some help from AA.....interesting to me (and I'm not a celeb enthusiast)....

Very sad. I'm 10 years younger but undoubtedly I was on the same road. RIP, Ms. Pena.

Oh so sad! I loved her as an actress! la Bamba, Lone Star! Down and Out in Beverly Hills and that's just the top of my head!
