Welcome Bshaw. Drinking has taken many things away from many of us. What's most important now is realizing that while you cannot undo the past, living sober is your best chance to prove you can be trusted. There is a wealth of support here to help you do Jair that, hope you can stick around.

Welcome! Getting sober won't solve your problems, but it will make it a lot easier to deal with them.

I'm glad you joined us. You'll find lots of support here.

Welcome to Sober Recovery. My heart goes out to you. Stick around. Lots of help here. The most important thing is to stay sober and, hopefully in time some type of resolution will come your way.

Hi and welcome I'm sorry about your current situation - don't let it push you back down to where you were though. Onwards and upwards. Are you having contact with your children?

Hi Bshaw. My ex wife was in exactly that situation a few years ago. She has been sober a couple of years now and shares custody with me and has a nice place of her own. You will do it too.

Welcometo SR. We cope one thing at a time and one day at a time. The one thing you do know is that alcohol won't help any of it. Glad to have you here.

Truly sorry for your situation. We did not get sick in a day but it is amazing how fast things get better when we stop drinking. Google "AA promises" they have all come true for me and can for you
