I've found hanging out here to be very helpful though.
You'll love this place and the people here.
I dont know what to say anymore myself, other than good luck maybe....to both of us..and the others here struggling.

Hey johar,
Sounds like you're in a bad low. It's sucks, I know.
You've made efforts, which included the Minnesota Model as well has arrived in here. You realize there's a problem, you feel very low and yet you still have the courage and will-power to reach out.
I'm going to guess that you already know that the first part of the journey to recovery is often the hardest. There's no magic words or sayings that can make it a whole lot easier. But there is light ahead.
Johar, this is a fight worth fighting, and things WILL improve, but it takes a fighter. You're in here; you've tried other avenues as well. There's little doubt that you are in fact a fighter. When things seem to be so daunting that you feel as you've come to the end of your rope, you need to remind yourself of that.
This forum is a great place. I really look forward to seeing you around.
Please know that this is truly a fight worth fighting.

Johar...your "Help"cry is damn fine start. Some believe it is the first and finest prayer there is (well..for us spiritual folk anyway). And if you are, I'm fond of Ann Lamott's thinking that there are really one 3 prayers one needs...
HELP
THANKS
WOW.
I'm not sure what is meant by Minnesota Model.
I'm just glad you're here..and I hope you keep talking.

You're post was short but it's like I can feel your pain and I'm sorry you're going through this.
I know AA isn't for everyone, but for me, it's the only thing that has kept me sober for any length of time. And I've been to 8 rehabs, 2 psych wards, jail 4 times, and tons of other hospitalizations.
I really hope you find something that works. Stay close my friend.
