Hi all~ Just curious if anyone else has used acupuncture in treatment for addiction. I have just started and it really has an amazing and relaxing effect on my anxiety. As someone who has always chased the "high", the floating feeling after an acupuncture session is very appealing to me. Anyone else have any comments/ experiences with acupuncture and recovery?

Yes. I did this when I was in daytox, they offered it. A woman volunteered twice a week to do it. And you had to book in advance her sessions were always full.

I was very relaxed after doing it. However will admit I was a little bit freaked out over the needles.
