As I was walking out the door to go to work this movie my boys were watching the Lego Movie. There is a scene where Batman and 1980's Astronaut are trying to break into President Business's Office. Batman proceeds to throw numerous batarangs (?) at the gates button. After about the 10th one he hits it and confidently says "First Try!" It's hilarious.

I also happened to be extremely hung over as i was heading out the door. I saw the scene, laughed, and thought "Day 1 of sobriety again....FIRST TRY!" Not many other people would connect that scene with alcohol...except everyone here.

Update....alcohol is showing me again how powerful it is. Last year i was sober for 9 months. This spring i started up again with some friends that moved back to the area. Only taken a few months for me to be drinking 3 or 4 nights a week. My brilliant strategy this time around was to wait until my wife went to bed and hit it hard for an hour or so. Really makes for an alert and productive morning... The jig is up. Shockingly she figured that technique out quickly. Time to get back to where i was last year. I did amazing things. Why do i keep sabotaging myself?
