Hello and welcome.
Glad you made it through the weekend. Remember, you never have to forget another one if you don't take that first drink.

Nice work Peace. I had so many wasted weekends too, it's certainly a good feeling to remember what happened, and even get things accomplished.

I love the feeling of waking up on Monday and remembering my entire weekend. I love waking up after going to bed at a reasonable hour and NOT still half drunk or hung over b/c I drank all weekend. I love getting to work and NOT being nauseous or shaky and sweaty wondering if my boss notices/smells me and watching that clock tick ever so slowly to 5pm.

Sober weekends rock.

Monday still suck but not as much anymore

Now that you mention it, this is my first weekend in a long time that I woke up on Monday remembering everything and not wondering what I didn't remember.

Great job to you and keep up the awesome job!!

True story - my drinking got so bad I started to resort to writing things down so I wouldn't forget what happened the next day. Nothing worse than trying to read what I wrote the next morning (drunken handwriting) and suffering from a massive hangover at the same time.

Good news at 55 days sober I just had a great weekend camping and I remember every detail without the notes or the sickness. Good job and keep it up.

I would write things down, too; conversations with whom, when, what about, ideas, etc...but next morning, I couldn't read what I wrote. The notes looked like a 2 year old wrote them.

My improving memory is one of the best things about being sober...I also wrote things down. Sometimes when I re-read it the next day, I had no memory of it at all.
