Technically day 1

Well this is my night 1 technically. Detox sucks as usual, but it's only temporary.

Hopefully it goes by fast and I can get started on my recovery plan and avoid this in the future.

Good to see you, Justin. Keep on the straight and narrow and do your best to keep things simple. All the best! Congrats on Day 1.

Great work on starting again. Curious what is your approach to recovery this time?

Well for starters I plan on posting and reading more. (Which I have already started obviously)

I had extra demand at my job which severely limited my time. I no longer have that.

I'm not going to be around that crap for quite a long time before I trust myself to be around it.

I'm going to focus more on exercise and health. I feel so much happier when I do that.

While I would LOVE to read you posting "Been 7 days- looking forward to making it to Day 8!" with you, I am glad you are at least trying again.

Hello Justin
I have just had one of the worst weeks of my life with regards to being ill from alcohol. I had stopped for 6 months after being in hospital however (it's a long story)!
The last 2 days after stopping drinking were really bad withe the usual sweating at night, no sleep, itchy skin, pains in the stomach and dry heaves but.........I am determined to do it and believe me if I can go through that, so can you!

You can do it!

After that you will at one point start vomiting blood and it will keep on getting worse

I speak from experience

Wishing all those in very early recovery all the best
