Wow that's fantastic Chilldice. I managed 10 days early this year but struggled after that. I am hoping I can pass ten days this time.

You can do it! ONE day at a time! today I am sober, I don't even think about tomorrow, before you know it the days and weeks add up

Yes that's my approach. If I think too far ahead I feel I cant achieve it because it scares me. But one day at a time is manageable.

I really really really really don't want to drink today

Congrats on day 10! 4 more days until you hit the 2 week mark!!
You might consider telling you mom to remove the wine from sight... alcohol will forever being staring us in the face but this early in recovery you might consider trying to shield yourself more. If you can get rid of the temptation by all means do it! Having my home alcohol free makes it a sanctuary of sorts. Just a thought. =)

Yeah, can't say that I miss hangovers either. They only get worse if you keep drinking; much worse.
